Seven Tuxedo Cats

These seven sweet cats belong to another close friends in NY. In early August they flew back to France for a while, and I stepped in to house-sit for two weeks. Along with pet care I watered the plants and kept the feeders topped up for our regular birds.

On day one the cats were curious but cautious—lots of watchful eyes from doorways. I offered respectful space, a soft voice, floor-level sits, and wand play from a distance. By day two they were taking turns inviting me to cuddle and play, and soon everyone had their preferred routine with me.(teehee)

We settled into a predictable schedule: morning feeds and fresh water, daily litter refresh with a multi-box rotation, midday enrichment (wand toys, treat puzzles, window birdwatching), and evening cuddle-and-groom(plus their fav churu😋) time. When their humans returned, the house was spotless and I left a little photo diary of our days together.
